Meet the Candidates: Maury Alliance Hosting Mayoral Forum July 9

Join Maury Alliance on July 9th at 5:30pm to hear from the two Maury County Mayoral candidates: Sheila Butt and Gabe Howard. This moderated Q&A session with the candidates will give attendees an opportunity to learn more about each candidate and their vision for the future of Maury County.

If you would like to submit a question for consideration, please send them to Alyssa at [email protected]. This event is open to the public and free to attend!

Doors open at 5pm, and the program will begin promptly at 5:30pm.

July 7th is the last day to register to vote!
Early voting begins on Friday, July 17th.
August 6th is Election Day.

July 11: Adult Kickball Tournament

Get ready for a full day of fun, competition, and community at Columbia Parks & Rec’s Co-Ed Adult Kickball Tournament!

Join us on July 11th at Ridley Sports Complex, with the first game kicking off at 8:00 AM. This is a one-day tournament designed for adults looking to compete, connect, and enjoy a classic game with a fun twist.

This is a registration-only event for ages 18+—no individual player registrations will be accepted. Teams must register in advance and build their full roster prior to signing up. Each team must have a minimum of 9 players and a maximum of 12, with at least 4 female participants required per roster. SIGN UP HERE.

Registration is limited to a maximum of 8 teams, so early sign-up is encouraged. The registration fee is $50 per team, and registration will be open from June 10th through July 10th.

Bring your team, bring your energy, and compete for a day of kickball, camaraderie, and summer fun at Ridley Sports Complex.
