Rippa Villa Awarded $100,000 State Grant to Restore Historic Enslaved Cabin

From City of Spring Hill’s post

Rippa Villa, owned by the City of Spring Hill and managed by The Battle of Franklin Trust, is a recipient of a $100,000 grant from the State of Tennessee as administered through the Tennessee State Museum!

The grant award will be used to help restore and repair the enslaved cabin on the property. Work needed includes the stabilization of the stone pier foundation, chimney, and building interior to allow for appropriate interpretation and access for guests and staff.

The $100,000 amount was the maximum available through the grant program.
