Renew Your Tags at the Library: Spring Hill Adds Convenient Kiosk

The Spring Hill Public Library is now home to a self-service kiosk where Maury County residents can renew their vehicle registration!
All you have to do is scan your current registration or driver's license, select your vehicle, and pay with a debit or credit card.
There is no longer a self-service kiosk in City Hall, but thankfully, this new one is just down the street! The kiosk is available during the Library's normal hours of operation.
Williamson County residents can continue to renew their registration at the kiosk located in Longview Recreation Center.

Waymo’s Self-Driving Cars to Hit Nashville Streets Next Year
Driverless rides are on the way to Nashville thanks to a new partnership between Waymo and Lyft. Beginning early next year, riders will be able to order fully autonomous vehicles through the Waymo app or match with them on Lyft. The white self-driving cars, equipped with large sensors, have been mapping Nashville’s streets for more than a year and will soon begin operating without safety drivers.
Waymo says its technology is designed to be safer than human drivers and can provide more consistent service since the cars don’t need breaks. Still, some Nashville residents say they’re both curious and cautious, especially about how the cars will handle traffic-heavy areas like Lower Broadway or ongoing construction zones.
The service is already running in cities like Phoenix, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Austin, with expansion planned for Miami and Washington, D.C. In Nashville, rides will be priced similarly to other ride-hailing options as the service rolls out in the coming months.
