MCFD Responds to House Fire in Culleoka

At 7:07am today (6/14) units responded to a reported house fire on Valley Creek Rd in the Culleoka Community. The caller reported a possible abandoned home fully involved. Responding units: Engines 21, 23, 30, Tankers 21 & 23, District 23, Support 20, Deputy 20.

Units arrived to find a home fully involved and commenced with a defensive fire attack. There were no occupants or injuries and the home was under renovation at the time of the fire.

Special thanks to Duck River Electric for their prompt response due to live power lines on the ground.

We appreciate the assistance from the following agencies on scene/involved:

Maury County 911
Maury County Sheriff's Department
Maury Regional Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
