15 Fun & Romantic Things To Do in Columbia For Valentine’s Day

My fiancee got these for me one February when I had the flu. I wanted them as a photo prop, hoping I’d get better in time to shoot it for Valentine’s Day, but… at least they looked just as pretty the next year. What you see is the contents of 9 little boxes. I was surprised that so many were needed, but fewer just didn’t have the right look.

Don’t miss this One night only Event! Featuring a delicious Italian Inspired Meal. For your Entree’ choose between Chicken Marsala or Tuscan Chicken.

For starters enjoy a cup of homemade minestrone soup and Italian salad. Next you’ll enjoy a pesto caprese flatbread followed by a pasta dish with Italian meatballs. Finish it off with a mouthwatering tiramisu for dessert. Get all this, including a glass of Wine for an amazing price of $25 per person. Valentine’s Dinner at BAD Bakery - 4:00 - 8:00 PM (2/14)

Join us at BAD Bakery for a Valentine’s event to remember! Enjoy a romantic dinner with your choice of Crème Brûlée French Toast or Steak and Eggs, plus a dessert tin packed with chocolate-covered strawberries, truffles, and brownies. Reservations are available anytime between 4 PM and 7 PM. The restaurant will close at 8 PM. Call 931-901-0237 to reserve your table and confirm your meal choice. On Friday the 14th, the diner will serve catfish as usual up until 3 o’clock, then we will close down for an hour to transform our dining room into a fancy valentine dining experience! Table cloths, candles, roses; even our servers and cooks will be dressed up. We will reopen at 4 pm to serve a wonderful meal to all those that make reservations for this special evening! Reservations are from 4-6pm.

Menu: ribeye steak, shrimp skewer, asparagus, corn on the cob, baked potato, side salad, soup and roll for $27.95!

The President James K. Polk Home and Museum offers a festive, educational and fun event for adults this Valentine’s Day!  

Presidential love letters are classic, enduring and, sometimes, scandalous. Learn about six presidential love affairs while enjoying a wine and chocolate tasting. Each president featured will include love letters and a paired chocolate and wine tasting. 

This adult only event is for singles and couples 21+ and will last approximately one hour. Seating is extremely limited and pre-purchased tickets are required.

Bring your teddy bear or other plush friend for a Valentine’s day party and teddy bear picnic!

Here’s a sweet event at historic Elm Springs! Enjoy delicious, homemade desserts made by the loving hands of Elm Springs’ volunteers and friends. When you are finished with the sweets, take a guided tour of the historic home with SCV Executive Director Adam Southern. The tour will include updates on the restoration of the home—which the proceeds of this event will benefit.
