In-N-Out: Latest Updates on New Restaurants Coming to Middle Tennessee

In-N-Out Burger is making significant strides to establish its presence in Middle Tennessee, with plans to open multiple restaurants and a corporate office in Franklin. The initiative includes proposals for locations in Wilson County, Davidson County, and an onsite restaurant at the upcoming corporate hub.
In Wilson County, Lebanon has approved plans for a 3,885-square-foot restaurant on South Hartmann Drive near Home Depot. The city is working with In-N-Out during the pre-development phase, with construction typically taking nine months once started. In Mt. Juliet, a 3,887-square-foot restaurant accommodating up to 105 customers is planned at the Golden Bear Place development. Necessary infrastructure is being prepared, and construction plans are in the final review stages.
In Davidson County, plans are progressing for locations in Madison near RiverGate Mall and in Antioch within the Century Farms development. In Madison, the proposed site is at 1000 Rivergate Parkway, awaiting plan revisions and final approvals. In Antioch, land for a restaurant at 4242 Century Farms Terrace was purchased for $3.95 million, with details on construction still to come.
Franklin will house the company's new eastern territory office, set to open in 2026, alongside a restaurant in the Berry Farms area. Construction is well underway following the September 2023 groundbreaking. The corporate hub represents a $125 million investment, creating 275 local jobs with an average salary exceeding $91,000.
In-N-Out’s Tennessee expansion is part of a deliberate and controlled growth strategy, aiming to open its first locations by the end of 2025. Applications for employment are being accepted at www.in-n-out.com/employment.
Maury County’s Junior Naturalist Program Inspires Kids to Explore Nature
Spending time in nature has been shown to improve happiness, health, and productivity, even with just a few minutes outdoors each day. Maury County Parks and Recreation offers a program to introduce children to the natural world called Maury County Junior Naturalist.
The program is designed for kids in kindergarten through sixth grade, fostering environmental education and exploration. It integrates subjects such as history, culture, science, technology, engineering, arts, and math with outdoor experiences, creating an immersive way for children to engage with nature and develop a passion for the environment.
Participants can sign up by visiting the Maury County Parks and Recreation Department at 1018 Maury County Park Drive in Columbia, Tennessee, during business hours. Upon registration, children receive a Junior Naturalist workbook filled with activities to be completed at their own pace. These activities encourage curiosity and strengthen their connection to nature while teaching them about the relationships between organisms and their environments.
Once the workbook is finished, it should be returned to the department, where children will take the Junior Naturalist pledge and celebrate their accomplishment with an official Junior Naturalist badge. This badge represents their commitment to caring for and appreciating the natural world.
For more information or questions, contact Maury County Parks and Recreation at [email protected] or call 931-375-6103.
