Miranda Lambert Pays a Visit to Maury County Animal Services

Credit: Maury County Animal Services
Country star Miranda Lambert visited Maury County Animal Services on Saturday to help support the local animal shelter.
Here’s what MCAS posted on their facebook page:
“Everyone we had a very, very special visitor this morning and even now, several hours later, we can hardly believe it. Miranda Lambert paid us a visit to meet a few of our dogs and cats and say hello to our volunteers and staff. Miranda was so down to earth we all felt immediately at ease in her presence and as you can see our dogs and cats adored her instantly. We often say we are the little shelter that could and today we could not have been prouder to show Miranda around. We are honestly still a little speechless. But not so speechless we can't send her a huge thank you for selflessly giving of her free time and in the process bringing awareness of our shelter and shining a spotlight on our incredible, adoptable, dogs and cats. We will be sharing her visit over the next few days so stay tuned. Miranda we ❤️ you. You have an open invitation to come see us anytime!!”
Miranda took pictures with many of the pets which you can see on the MCAS Facebook page here. If you’re not able to adopt, they encourage you to share the pictures to help find them a home.

The lanterns are works of art, showcasing over 15 scenes inspired by Chinese folklore and wildlife. This enchanting display, crafted by 25 artisans who traveled from China to Tennessee, centers around themes of folklore and whimsical imagery. Along with these breathtaking visuals, visitors can also enjoy encounters with real animals at the zoo, with select exhibits remaining open during the event.
Zoolumination is open nightly from November 14 to January 5 between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. As the winter continues, it will be open Thursdays through Sundays from January 9 to February 9, 2025.
