How 431 Ministries is Changing Lives for Women in Maury County

For the past six years, 431 Ministries has been a beacon of hope for women in Columbia, Spring Hill, and beyond. This local nonprofit is dedicated to supporting women who have faced life’s toughest challenges, whether that’s widowhood, divorce, post-sobriety, or surviving abusive relationships. Through a combination of individual coaching, group services, and community-supported events, 431 Ministries provides a safe and nurturing space for women to rebuild their lives.
In 2016, founders Justin and Rachel Peck invited a single mom and her daughter to live with them when they were facing homelessness. In the nine months they lived in community in under 700 square feet, the single mom gained practical skills, confidence, and grew her faith in the Lord. On May 10, 2018, 431 Ministries was founded and officially launched to help more women like her.
431 Ministries began with a mission to reach the women who often fall through the cracks of traditional crisis organizations. They recognized that women who have a single point of stability—such as a job or home—often struggle to qualify for further assistance during crises. Grief, fear, and isolation can also prevent these women from seeking the help they need. Since its inception, 431 Ministries has supported over 800 women, offering a unique, holistic approach to recovery and personal growth.
There are no other programs in the Middle TN area that focus solely on rehabilitation and development, regardless of socio-economic, education or other demographics. 431 Ministries offers a wholistic approach, focusing on individually-led plans that invite accountability and lasting life-change.
Located at 220 Town Center Parkway, Suite 140 in Spring Hill, 431 Ministries continues to thrive, thanks to the generosity of the local community. The organization is always looking for volunteers, donors, and advocates to help support their mission. With more than 30% of households in Maury County led by single women, 431 Ministries plays a vital role in providing the resources and encouragement needed for these women to thrive.
If you're interested in getting involved or learning more about how you can support their mission, visit their website here. Together, we can continue making a difference in the lives of women in our community.
