Your Guide For Early Voting in Maury County

Tennessee Secretary of State Tre Hargett reminds all registered Tennessee voters to utilize the early voting period and cast their ballot for the Aug. 1 State and Federal Primary and State and County Elections.

The 14-day early voting period began on Friday and runs through July 27. All registered voters can find hours and polling locations, view sample ballots, and much more by visiting GoVoteTN.gov or downloading the Secretary of State’s free GoVoteTN app.

Who is on the Ballot?

Primary elections are scheduled for U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, Tennessee Senate (even-numbered districts), and Tennessee House of Representatives. General elections will be held for vacant state judicial offices and applicable county offices. To see the races on your ballot, check the GoVoteTN app. You can search by voter or by address to access your specific ballot information.

What ID is Required When Voting?

Tennessee voters heading to the polls, either for early voting or on Election Day, must bring valid photo identification. Acceptable IDs include a driver’s license or photo ID issued by the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security, by Tennessee state government, or by the federal government, even if they are expired. Note that college student IDs are not acceptable. For more information about acceptable IDs, visit this link or call the Division of Elections at 1-877-850-4959.

Columbia Early Voting will be held from July 12-July 27 at 1207 Tradewinds Dr, between the hours of 8am and 4pm, Monday-Friday and Saturdays 8a-12p.

Spring Hill Early Voting will be held from July 25-July 26 at the Spring Hill Library (144 Kedron Pkwy) between the hours of 8am and 4pm and July 27 8a-12p.

2024 Elections

An Election will be held August 1 for U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, Tennessee Senate (even-numbered districts), and Tennessee House of Representatives. General elections will be held for vacant state judicial offices and applicable county offices including: Even School Board Districts, District 5 School Board (unexpired term), District 5 County Commissioner (unexpired term), Assessor of Property, and Road Superintendent.

An Election will be held November 5 for all candidates (including independents) for U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, Tennessee Senate (even-numbered districts), and Tennessee House of Representatives. The ballot will also include Columbia City Council and Mt. Pleasant City Commission.
