Maury County Animal Services Shares Impressive Stats For May

Posted on Maury County Animal Services Instagram:
…we want to share some numbers with you. When our new director came in one of the words frequently heard around the shelter in her early days was transparency. And we are working hard to make sure that becomes the norm and not the exception. So going forward we hope to start sharing our monthly stats. We are sharing in part because we are pretty proud of what we accomplished in May in a tough month that saw a catastrophic weather event. We did this with only 2 ACO’s. But the other part is it’s the right thing to do. It’s important to keep our community informed.
However the numbers only tell a small part of the story. The numbers can’t express the dedication of staff and the enormous contribution of our volunteers. They don’t speak of the huge challenge of handling so many incoming animals with roughly 55 and a half kennels and the dedication it takes to build rescue relationships and community partnerships. It takes all of those elements to produce such great numbers.
You have a shelter that is working hard that you can be proud of. You play a role in our success as well. Your support, encouragement and interest in our animals make a difference and make us better.

More about TrueLove Tactical…
In 2014, after a few negative experiences at various gun ranges, I decided to buy property where I could shoot with friends and family. As time went on, more and more people wanted to come out to shoot.
In 2018, I had the idea to turn the property into a fully functional commercial gun range. The same people who had enjoyed the range, volunteered their time and skills to contribute to its expansion.
The goal was to create, and share, the same stress free, safe, and fun environment that we had enjoyed for years. we wanted A place where beginners and experts alike could enjoy recreational shooting.
So we got to work, and over the course of five years, on our days off, and with the help of a lot of people, we built a range, piece by piece, that we are incredibly proud of.
