Dave Matthews Band, Hozier, & More to Headline Pilgrimage Music Festival's 10th Anniversary

The highly anticipated lineup for the 10th anniversary of the Pilgrimage Music and Cultural Festival has been revealed. Headliners include the Dave Matthews Band, Noah Kahan, Hozier, and NEEDTOBREATHE. Joining them are other notable performers such as Lukas Nelson, Allison Russell, Stephen Sanchez, Better Than Ezra, and Grace Bowers & the Hodge Podge.
Scheduled for September 28-29 at The Park at Harlinsdale in Franklin, TN, this milestone event holds special significance for event producer Kevin Griffin. He wanted to commemorate the festival's history while embracing its future for the 10th anniversary. Including artists who have been part of the Pilgrimage family, such as Dave Matthews, along with newer talents like Stephen Sanchez and others.
Griffin also highlighted improvements to the festival experience, including enhancements to the children's Fun Farm area and the VIP experience. He emphasized the commitment to improving the overall festival experience for attendees. This year, the focus is on upgrading the VIP amenities, taking into account feedback from previous years.
Moreover, significant improvements to festival infrastructure are underway, including widening of Franklin Road, addition of sidewalks between Harlinsdale and downtown Franklin, and a pedestrian bridge for enhanced accessibility.
Tickets for the Pilgrimage Music and Cultural Festival go on sale today at pilgrimagefestival.frontgatetickets.com, offering various options including two-day general admission, two-day VIP, single-day passes, and parking passes. Limited quantities will be available at each price level, so early purchase is encouraged.
Carter’s Creek Bridge Claims 3 Victims Already This Month!

The latest Carter’s Creek Victim on March 20th
The Carter’s Creek railroad bridge (on Carter’s Creek Pike) is known as the “Carter’s Creek Can Opener” for how consistently it rips the tops off of trucks like the one pictured above. It is a 10’ 10” bridge and, despite the clear signs posted, truck drivers continue to be surprised by it’s height.
This morning a driver stopped before causing any damage to their truck, but caused a serious back up on the road while he backed up!

For a play-by-play of all the action this bridge gets (and a lively discussion in the comments) be sure to join the Carter’s Creek Can Opener Facebook group and also follow the Carter’s Creek Railroad Bridge Facebook profile.
And if you're ever driving a truck that’s taller than 10’ 10” - PLEASE plan your route carefully!!

Come hang out with us April 6th at the @highland_realm_blueberry_farm as we spend an afternoon learning about the different mushrooms that grow in this area. The foray will include a crash course mushroom identification and how to use them as a wild food source. Registration information can be found above ☝️ Please reach out if you have any questions. See you there!”
