The Maury County Animal Shelter is bursting at the seams and posted this to their facebook page last night:
PLEASE SHARE - $25 DOG ADOPTION FEES
Guys we are FULL! We are busting at the seams. We are taking in so many dogs just when adoptions have slowed down. We NEED your help!! We need adopters and shares!! Please scroll through all the photos and check us out on Petfinder to see all of our adoptable dogs. Adoption fees for dogs are $25 and $50 for cats/kittens. This includes spay/neuter, shots and a microchip. If you have a dog they need to come with you for a meet and greet at the shelter. Please, please come see us!! Comment below with any questions.

Where is Maury the Mule? Join in the Fun For a Chance to Win $500!

Maury the Mule is LOST in Maury County and we need your help to find him!
Find Maury the Mule hidden in businesses across Maury County for a chance to win $500 and other great prizes.
Maury Alliance’s annual “Where’s Maury the Mule?” shop local passport adventure starts on Tuesday, March 26th. The rules are simple: pick up a passport, find Maury the Mule hidden in as many businesses as possible, and turn your passport in at the Maury Alliance office by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, April 9th. Share your adventure on social media using #maurythemule so everyone can follow along!
This year’s event was made possible by the generosity of Harmon Scrap Metal in Columbia, TN. Harmon Scrap Metal is a premier scrap metal recycling company and has been family owned and operated since 1985.

The 39 Steps Opens at the Cherry Theater on March 22nd

Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, add a dash of Monty Python and you have The 39 Steps, a fast-paced whodunit for anyone who loves the magic of theatre! This theatrical homage to Alfred Hitchcock is packed with nonstop laughs, over 150 zany characters (played by a ridiculously talented cast of four), an onstage plane crash, handcuffs, missing fingers, and some good old-fashioned romance!
