February Gumbo Sunday!

The Amber Falls Winery & Cellars will be serving their authentic Cajun Gumbo with sides from 12:30-3pm. Live music from Kenny Durham's band Cross Bridges (classic 70s, 80s, and more) will be from 1-4pm.
The winery will be open and serving their award-winning wine from 12:30-5pm.

This is a family-friendly event. There is no cost for admission. No off-premise beverages.

Art Competition to Celebrate 120th Anniversary of Maury County Courthouse

Experience Maury County, TN invites Maury County citizens of all ages to participate in the celebration of the 120th anniversary of the historic Maury County Courthouse. You can do this by submitting your original artwork (all genres welcome) depicting the courthouse.

There will be four categories for judging: elementary, middle school, high school, and adult. Winners from each category will receive a locally themed gift basket and artwork displayed at the Maury County Courthouse during Mule Day Festivities. In addition, all submitted artwork will be displayed at the Pryor Art Gallery at CSCC from May 13th - June 14th. As well as a reception to honor the winners.

To submit your artwork, ensure that it is delivered to the Maury County Archives located at Muletown Rec. by 3 PM on March 22nd, 2024. For more details, please call the Maury County Archives at (931)375-1500.

RULES: Artwork must be original. 2D art in the 18+ category must be submitted framed and wired, ready for hanging. Art must have a card with the artist’s name, contact info, age category, title, and medium securely attached. All art must be submitted no later than 3:00 pm on March 22, 2024, to the Maury County Archives at their temporary location inside Muletown Rec, 1446 Oak Springs Drive, Suite 100.

Silver Alert: Missing Person From Clarksville Area

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation needs your help to find Howard Miller, who is missing from Clarksville.

The 42-year-old is 6'1", 170 lbs., with brown hair and blue eyes, last seen wearing a tan hoodie and blue jeans in the area of North Main Street. Miller has a medical condition that may impair his ability to return safely without assistance.
