Curious Cat Rescued From Storm Drain in Columbia

From Columbia Fire & Rescue’s post today…
Curiosity may have gotten the cat into the storm drain, but teamwork got it back out!
Today, a curious cat found itself stuck in a storm drain on S. Garden Street. Thanks to a great team effort between Columbia Fire & Rescue, Columbia Public Works Department, and Columbia Police Department the feline adventurer was safely removed.
A big thank you to Columbia Public Works for their help with this purr-fect rescue. We’re happy to report that the cat is safe, doing well, and hopefully has learned that storm drains aren’t the best place for an afternoon adventure!
