Concrete Repair to Close Off-Ramps on State Route 396 in Maury County

Beginning Friday, June 12, TDOT crews will conduct a full closure of the State Route 396 (Saturn Parkway) eastbound and westbound off-ramps to Port Royal Road due to concrete repair operations. This work will take place from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on weekdays and a continuous closure on weekends. This work will tentatively be completed by Sunday, June 22.

Signage will be in place, alerting motorists of this closure. See the suggested detours above.

All work is weather-dependent. As always, drivers are reminded to allow additional time, slow down, and move over when traveling through a work zone. The Move Over Law was passed in 2006. The penalty for violating the law in Tennessee includes the possibility of up to 30 days in jail and a maximum fine of $500.

Motorists can report potholes to TDOT by calling the TDOTFIX Hotline at 833-TDOTFIX or using this online form: TDOT Maintenance Request. The TDOT SmartWay Map (https://smartway.tn.gov) provides the latest traffic updates on construction activity. Travelers can also call 511 for travel information.

Major Changes Coming to BNA Parking as Lot A Closes July 1

Travelers using Nashville International Airport will soon need to make alternative parking plans as Lot A is scheduled to close July 1 to make way for a major expansion project.

The closure is part of BNA's ongoing $3 billion New Horizon program, which is designed to accommodate continued growth at the airport as passenger numbers are expected to reach 40 million annually in the years ahead.

The current surface lot sits on the site where a new six-story parking garage and rental car facility will be built. Once completed, the structure will house approximately 4,700 rental vehicles and provide 3,000 parking spaces for travelers.

Airport officials say the new facility will be located adjacent to the existing terminal garages, allowing passengers to walk to and from the terminal without needing shuttle buses.

Although Lot A will close, several parking options will remain available, including the terminal garages, valet parking, Economy Lot B and Economy Lot C.

The new garage and rental car center will be constructed alongside BNA's future ring road project, which will expand the airport's current one-mile, two-lane roadway into a two-mile loop featuring six lanes.

Airport officials say additional traffic changes and detours will be introduced as construction progresses, with updates to be provided ahead of each phase.
